Alport walks

Alport is very close to Winster, down in the valley over which Winster lies; it also sits on the confluence of Bradfield and Lathkill Rivers (ideal for fly-fishing). Photos are of a lovely early evening walk there in late May.

New log burning stove

Angel Cottage currently has a ‘faux’ log burning stove – we think there’s nothing like the real thing, so a new one should be going in just before Easter, making for a cosier cottage!
